Your rights
Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Under GDPR (EEA / UK):
• Right of access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data
• Right to restrict processing — limit how we use your data
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing
• Right not to be subject to automated decision-making
Under CCPA (California residents):
• Right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold
• Right to delete personal information
• Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights
Under India's DPDP Act, 2023 (Indian residents):
• Right to access a summary of your personal data and the processing activities carried out
• Right to correction, completion, updating, and erasure of your personal data
• Right to grievance redressal — you may raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer before approaching the Data Protection Board of India
• Right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@muqira.com. We will respond within 30 days (GDPR), 45 days (CCPA), or as required under the DPDP Act. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing a request.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are in India, you may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India after first raising it with our Grievance Officer at privacy@muqira.com.
